The number of Authorized Economic Operators(AEO) in Hubei Province amounted to150on December28, of which 22 werenewly-addedin 2023, ranking first in central China.

The AEO is defined as a party involved in the international movement of goods in whatever function that has been approved by or on behalf of a national customs administration as complying withsupply chain security standards.

In the first 11months of 2023, Hubei’s foreign trade withcountries involved with the Belt and Road Initiative reached272.47 billion yuan, up 9.8percent year on year.Of the total, AEO in the province contributed nearly 40percentto the import and export value.
