Wang noted that under the guidance of the China-Denmark comprehensive strategic partnership, Hubei has in recent years deepened cooperation with Denmark in fields such as economic cooperation and trade, clean energy, and cultural and people-to-people exchanges. He expressed his hope that the two sides should tap the potential of green and low-carbon cooperation in response to climate change and make use of the China-Nordic Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and other platforms, so as to add new dimensions to the bilateral partnership.
Ambassador Møller said that Denmark and Hubei have a solid foundation and huge potential for cooperation in clean energy, especially in green, intelligent shipbuilding. It is hoped that the two sides will strengthen cooperation in relevant fields and jointly promote green transition and sustainable development.
During his stay in Hubei, Ambassador Møller also attended the Marine Electrical Technology Forum which was held on the pure electric cruise ship “Honour of the Yangtze River” on July 13.
