In 2021, Hubei's gross domestic product (GDP) reached 5,001.294 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 12.9 percent. The added value of the primary sector reached 466.167 billion yuan, up 11.1percent, while thatof the secondary and tertiary sectors reached 1,895.29 billion yuan and 2,639.837 billion yuan respectively, up 13.6percentand 12.6percent. The three sectors respectively represent 9.3percent, 37.9percentand 52.8percentof the province's GDP.
