Located in Wangjiahe Street of Huangpi District, Wuhan, Mulan Grassland Area is 38 kilometers away from the Central City. It belongs to the “Mulan Eight Scenes” with its convenient transportation. The planning area is 4,800 mu and it currently employs 160 people.

The park was formally open to the public in May, 2007. It has successfully hosted the “Eighth Mulan Tourism and Culture Festival, i.e. the opening ceremony of Mulan Grassland Scenic Spot”, “Competition of Miss Wuhan (Wuhan tourism promotion ambassador contest)”, “Marriage Date for young people - Love in Mulan Grassland”, “A Date with Mulan Grassland in CCTV-7” and other major events.

Mulan Grassland Area belongs to the typical grassland scenic spot, with the grass everywhere just like green blankets, clean rivers meandering around. Flowers are in full blossom, attracting bees fly. Here you can see grassland tribe, grassland obo, grassland family, grassland-style promenade, and enjoy the grassland stropping, horse racing, archery, bonfire parties and other recreational activities. It integrates the natural landscape and Mulan culture, forming unique grassland scenery.

Based on nomads’ activities and their customs and taking Mulan culture as its brand, it aims at creating a special scenic spot with a theme of “Mulan culture”, “grassland culture” and “horse culture”, the major functions of which are grassland sightseeing, participation, competition and experiencing. It complements the “Grassland” tourism project in Hubei Province and the eco-tourism in the southeast area of Wuhan and it is the only tourism resort in central China which has been awarded as one of the national AAAA scenic spots, which boasts a combination of business, tourism, leisure, sight-seeing and vacation.

It starts the third section of scenic area construction in December 2012, striving for a national AAAAA level scenic spot. It spares no efforts to improve the hardware and software facilities, the service quality with the purpose of making it tourism attraction of superiority at the provincial and national level.
